How do I purchase and personalize a Gift Card? I don't see sales tax, was it missed? Since the online system is designed to service all Canadians the taxes are calculated at 13% HST and will be added to your order automatically when you check out (the system will apply the tax once you enter "ON" for your home province)
What does the "(+ <additional price>)" mean? Services are listed as individual options (ie. the cost of a single service) and in brackets you will find the 'additional price to upgrade to a larger package' . In the example below you can see the cost of an 'A La Carte Daycare is $39.99' and it is an 'additional $130 to upgrade to a 5-pack of passes'. The price for a 5 pack of passes is therefore $39 + $130 for a total of $169.99. The total price at the top of the page will change dynamically based on the package size you choose. You can also conveniently see the Cost Per Service for each package on our main page. The little ‘+’ thing is super annoying and confusing...why do you do it that way? We agree, it's super annoying and confusing, the benefit for you however is that you don't need to sift through 100 specialized services to find your package of choice! If you would prefer to have an invoice sent to you directly, please email us at email@example.com with your service request and a personalized invoice will be provided. You also have the option to securely maintain your credit card on file with BFF and pre-authorize package refills and invoice payments.
Why do I have two different login Id's for my BFF Accounts? The BFF Shop and your individual self-serve account are hosted on separate servers. This is a bit inconvenient, we agree, however we have deliberately set-up our services this way to ensure the greatest possible protection of your personal data and your credit card information. Both sites are super secure and protected by SSL encryption as well as multiple layers of advanced server security through our partners. If you find this to be inconvenient and would like to adjust your user name and password so that they are the one and the same, please let us know and we will give you a hand with the set-up. You may also want to explore using Google's Chrome Password Manager which provides advanced sign-in security while auto populating your individual sign-in credentials.
